I been trying to get things running so was following your advice.
I am encountering the following when i execute 6)

File “wnf.py”, line 107, in run

ImportError: No module named webnotes
From which directory are you running it?
Basically it means that webnotes is not in the path, so the current working directory from which you are running wnf.py matters.
Try running it from erpnext directory (root of the erpnext project, the script automatically adds lib/py to the path)
Any suggestions?

Hi Ganesh,
Installer might not happen for a while I think, but it shouldn’t be hard to install this manually.
if you want to try this, here is what you have to do in brief,
-
You have to pull / download latest code for Webnotes and erpNext from github (Web Notes Technologies Pvt Ltd · GitHub)
-
Extract both erpNext and wnframework to a folder
-
Set your html folder to the root of erpnext (not to wnframework folder like it was in Ver1. You can edit the
existing erpnext.conf file in your apache configuration directory, if you don’t want to keep the old
installation)
-
create a symlink in erpnext:
ln -s path/to/wnframework lib
-
Unzip the master database
gunzip erpnext/data/master.sql.gz
-
Run the installer:
python wnf.py --install <root_password> <new_db_name> data/master.sql
-
Edit wnframework/py/defs.py
-
login as administrator, pwd is admin.
A few more hints,
If you have a MySQL host name than localhost, (or any other user than root), you will have to edit wnframework/py/webnotes/db.py. What I did was, I defined few more variables in defs.py and replaced hard coded values in db.py.
Also in some places there are minor issues because of the original SaaS implementation (like in users.py, line 108)
Also you would want to install dependencies Jinja2 and Markdown (May be there are more, but that is what I remember now.)
I will compile a better list and post them soon, also with the fixes,
Hope this can get you started, write back if you face any issues,
Best,
Sudev

I Know that this erpnext soft is very powerful thn anyother erp soft and more customizing is posible as per that person usages…
