Subscriptions

Hi at all, I looked the demo of ERPnext, it is a very impressive work.

I had a problem with subscriptions for example if you have a contract to furnish 100 units of product every week for two years to a customer, how do you manage it within ERPnext?
Thank you

I also am interested in the answer to this question... especially in a situation where the customer has paid for the entire subscription ahead.
How do you record stuff like deliveries on a monthly, or as in this example, weekly basis etc?

Hi Appost,

Thank you for your interest in ERPNext and welcome to ERPNext user forum.

Currently there is no feature to create recurring Delivery Note weekly/monthly basis. It is good-to-have feature but our hands are full now. I am adding it in github issue list (https://github.com/webnotes/erpnext/issues/323).
For now you can use "Copy" feature to create Delivery Note on weekly basis. You should create a Sales Order for total qty ordered for entire 2 years and create Delivery Note against that Sales Order.

Hi Nabin,

Thanks a lot for your response and for adding this to your issues list on Github.
Are you saying its possible to create multiple Delivery Notes against a single Sales Order?

Kind regards,

It is very much possible to create multiple Delivery Note against any Sales Order. You can also check "Delivered Qty" and "% Delivered" in sales order form.
