raise exc
pymysql.err.OperationalError: (2003, “Can’t connect to MySQL server on u’localhost’ ([Errno 111] Connection refused)”)

as you can see, error happened when doing backup for database.
I tried to test the connection to all of my database with the same config on site_config.json, I don’t get any problem.
at the last line it says

pymysql.err.OperationalError: (2003, “Can’t connect to MySQL server on u’localhost’ ([Errno 111] Connection refused)”)

why u’localhost’ ? not the u’mysql_user’

need help here,
Thank you guys.

Hi @ical ,

thank you for your reply, but sorry it doesn’t work. I try to rebuild mariadb configuration at server.cnf and it solve the mysql problem, maybe newer version mariadb disable some configs value related to innodb setting, and i success to execute bench update command.
After updating I got another problem, redis_server can not running.
I solved by

  • create new bench folder, ‘bench init new-bench-folder’
  • create newsite.local, ‘bench new-site newsite.local’
  • move oldsite.local content (from old bench folder) to newsite.local folder.
  • bench update --reset
  • bench --site newsite.local migrate
  • bench clear-cache
  • bench start
  • done

Solved
Thank you
