Multiple UOM for an Item

Hi there,
I need to setup an item to be tracked in the stock by number of units but when in a sales/purchase transaction, it’s done in a different UOM. Here is the real scenario for Solar Panel item:
The item is purchased/sold in UOM of “Watts” but in the stock it must be reported in whole number of panels. How would I setup this scenario without lots of scripting?

@dave-greeko Set the Stock UOM as Unit so that the stock is maintained in units.

Step 1
Make variants as well for each solar panel size. Like 100W, 200W, 300W so that inventory of each one could be maintained in units

Step 2
Set the UOM Conversion for Watts for each variant

Step 3
Set the Default Purchase Unit of Measurement. In your case it would be Watts.
