It’s a common use case to chart two sets of data against a time series, ie budget vs actual, receivables vs payable etc. Frappe Charts via config can only do one data series but I know the separate/underlying charts module can do multiple. Suggestions on cost and who could dev this feature for me and submit as pull request?

You should be able to do this already. I haven’t played with it much, but as of v13.0 Dashboard Charts can take any report as input. With this, you can use existing reports or create a new script report crosstabulating data from any number of tables.
