Leaves must be allocated in multiples of 0.5 error

What does mean by this error? why do we need to assign this way?

It was my mistake I had assigned 4 leaves but didn’t realize that it was set to 0.4 so it caused the error.

You can assign leaves which can be multiple of 0.5, it means you can assign leaves to an employee like (20 days or 20.5 days) where 0.5 is like a half day leave.
