How to scan barcode for weight item?

I’m using barcode to scan item, it’s good for Item with normal barcode, but I want to scan item like fish, each barcode with different weight in barcode, like this 2040308000980. mean 2040308 is item code and 000980 is weight, do we have this function in erpnext pos?
I think every supermarket will use it.

It’s not an available feature in the standard POS but is available in POS Awesome. If you search the forums for POS Awesome, there’s lots of information on it.
