How to achieve Engineer to order

Hi ,

I been digging on how to set up "engineer to order" . Like for a furniture company? Few ideas would help. Am trying to figure out how to add the labour hours.

Vivek,

You need to create a separate BOM for each project. Use Sales Order to track progress and Time Logs (against Sales Order) to track labour.

There might be a few missing pieces - if you find please post/

best,

I have similar requirement. Are there any more details on this?

Has anyone found a solution on Engineer to order so far ? I’ve been struggling with the same issue for some time and that is the key factor in using or quitting ErpNext. It’s a good all around ERP but I can’t figure out how to use it for unique production items.

Thanks,
