Getting Error during ERP CRM installation

I am doing an installation in local i3 ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS machine by following the video ‘ERPNext is a free, self hosted, open source ERP System that is Enterprise and Production ready. - YouTube’ , everything installed properly but I stuck at cmd ‘docker-compose up -d’, getting the error

ERROR: Couldn’t connect to Docker daemon - you might need to run docker-machine start default

details are given below

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ docker-compose up -d
ERROR: Couldn’t connect to Docker daemon - you might need to run docker-machine start default.

As per some online solutions have run the below commands but it’s not worked

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ docker-compose --version
docker-compose version 1.25.0, build unknown

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ docker-compose up -d
ERROR: Couldn’t connect to Docker daemon - you might need to run docker-machine start default.

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ docker-machine start default
Docker machine “default” does not exist. Use “docker-machine ls” to list machines. Use “docker-machine create” to add a new one.

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ docker-machine ls
NAME ACTIVE DRIVER STATE URL SWARM DOCKER ERRORS

Kindly help to resolve this to complete the installation

Hi,

Can you check sudo systemctl is-active docker or sudo status docker or sudo service docker status to make sure the docker daemon is running?

Yes it is active, details are given below

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ sudo systemctl is-active docker
active

sgadmin@AOLSC-C-088:~/frappe_docker$ sudo service docker status

Grant ssh access to me so I can check. I can’t figure out why do you need docker-machine

You need to add your current user to docker group to allow access without sudo. I don’t think that’s the case here.

Can we connect on anydesk?

No.

From my github profile get my public key and add it.
SSH doesn’t waste my time. Any other method of communication is like a “Training” call.

Commercial? get in touch with castlecraft.in.
