Tried to install ErpNext on macOS High Sierra manuaally as the easy install script did not work at all for this version of macOS. Steps followed are …
- Install Xcode
- Installed Home-brew
- Installed git using brew install git
- Installed node using brew install node
- Installed redis using brew install redis
- Installed mariadb using brew install mariadb
- Started mariadb using mysql.server start
- Secured mariadb using mysql_secure_installation
- Installed virtualenvwrapper using pip install virtualenvwrapper
- Installed ipython using pip install ipython
- Installed cask using brew tap caskroom/cask
- Installed wkhtmltopdf using cask install Caskroom/cask/wkhtmltopdf
- Cleaned up brew using brew cleanup --force
- Cleaned up cask using brew cask cleanup
- Created bench-repo by git clone GitHub - frappe/bench: CLI to manage Multi-tenant deployments for Frappe apps bench-repo
- Installed bench-repo using sudo pip install -e bench-repo
- Initialised bench using bench init frappe-bench
- Edited /usr/local/etc/my.cnf with required content for site creation
- Stopped mariadb using mysql.server stop
- Started mariadb using mysql.server start
- Change directory to frappe-bench cd frappe-bench
- Started site creation using bench new-site site1.local
**Now this is running for last 3 hours and you can find the progress, very unusal as it takes minutes in Ubuntu16.04 /CentOS 7.4.
