In spite of repeated tries, the BOM is just not being able to be made to work
i am not able figure out if its a bug or if its me doing wrong
simply put
I get steel rod in length ( i length costs ₹5000/-) – last purchase rate
this rod has to be subcontracted to be cut to length
1 length rod comes back to be as 146 nos
for every piece cut i pay ₹5.0 — price list
how do i setup a bom for this showing correct costing

After numerous trials, it seems that there is bug in BOM
the cost calculations are wrong

the item price is fetched correctly from price list(cnc Machining) — 20 Rs
the doc show’s the save button
in image 2
once i click the “save” button then… the “submit” button is shown
the price changes to ₹ 3.00
the above price is from a different pricelist

Try changing the UOM to something else, Unit perhaps.
