What is the difference between Employee Incentive and Additional Salary in v11 under HR > Payroll ?

Can’t we use Additional Salary to handle Employee Incentive ?

Can we put Employee Incentive in Additional Salary like as below ?

Employee Incentive is pre-defined based on certain targets etc. whereas additional salary could be used to give ad-hoc bonuses etc.
