Department code in School

Hi,

There is a department code inside Course and Program setup. But, these department codes pertain to Manufacturing or retail setup. It doesn’t cater to the education model. Is there a way to add departments over there as I don’t see a Department table anywhere?

Given permission to “Academic User” role to create Department record (Assigned permissions for Academic User role in Department by nabinhait · Pull Request #5948 · frappe/erpnext · GitHub). You have to give the permissions manually.

Adding default department records for school is little bit difficult as it depends on the type of schools.
