This topic has been covered before, but have not seen clear action plan to address.
On a drop shipment after Sales Order and Purchase Order are submitted customer makes a change.
- Cannot Cancel Sales Order without canceling Purchase Order which is not always necessary. New Purchase Order would be created and number does not match what supplier has physically! → Need to change Sales Order without canceling PO. Tried making Sales Order Item Description changeable after submit, but does not appear to work with child tables
- Need to relook at case, but sometimes need to submit PO against a different Sales Order
A big help would be if Sales Order field on Purchase Order, Project Field on Purchase Order, etc. to be visible and selectable.
