Attach Field Behaviour

Hi All,

Design Files Field is attach field.
Every time i need to change it. I need to remove and attach another new file.
The history shown is quite untidy. Is it possible to edit the attachment instead of remove and upload again?

The 4 setences can simply to You changed value of Design Files from /files/Example_Design_Files2.pdf to /files/Examples_Design_Files3.pdf.

Or is there a way to change the history of record in py file?

Hello,

ERPNext doesn’t have provision for tracking changes inside the file. Perhaps you can update file name such that naming gives you idea of it’s version.
