Api.py file is missing in my custom app created in erpnext

api.py file is missing in my custom app created in erpnext. Is it a common issue which can be solved or my error which i should look into.Please suggest some ideas to rectify it

sorry i came to know it is not a default file since i am new to erpnext i thought of discussing in forum
