Adding sorting alphabetically ordering inside a table of items

Hi all,

I have to add a sorting option to a table in purchase receipt. It should sort alphabetically(A-Z) a particular row based on item_code. How can i achieve this ? Please help me. Thanks.

I am attaching the screenshot of the table which i want to add a sorting option.

no. I used javascript to sort. You can also try.

Try this it will sort both ascending and descending order on clicking the table header
