We are a service company and I have been playing around with the invoice template, items etc. I need some help with adding a service dates to line items for our standard hourly labour item.
We can select our hourly labour item which brings up the hourly labour rate no problem. What we need to be able to do is add in a date or other custom text before or after the item description for the hourly labour item but have it next to the item description in the item column. Sometimes we bill multiple days of labour and they need to be separated on the invoice but show each date so the customer can see which days were billing and how many hours were billing and match this to our hand written work order from the service.
