[7.0] csv import error - " need more than 1 value to unpack"

trying to import a bunch of leads and get an

"need more than 1 value to unpack"

error message for each line. Somehow it strikes me that is not one of the ‘ususal’ errors where some info is missing (like pre-existing database entries that need to match the imported data or such). Any pointers what to look for?

I’d love to to, but … how?. Can’t upload a csv, copy 'n’paste doesn’t work neither
