I am creating a workflow, with following states and transaction rule
States:
Transaction Rules
The flow is like : Professor -> HOD -> Nodal Officer 1 -> Nodal Officer 2 -> Dean
For the above sequence, for Approve state it works fine, but for Reject it shows following message
How to handle following condition with workflow
A situation like: where HOD want's to reject professor's request?
Regards,
Saurabh

You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ERPNext Developer Forum" group.
In your screenshot, States do not have a Rejected status.
Even Rejected status should have docstatus = 1, i.e. Submitted. It means that the status has been fixed and no further modification to the document should be allowed.
You cannot cancel a draft document.
Thanks,
Anand.
PS. There is also a typo in States row#7 for Cancelled

Well, that's your choice. Type which field you want to update on that status change and with what value.
For eg. if there is a status field where you want the value to change to "Approved" when "Approved by HOD" state is set in workflow, then select field as "status" and value as "Approved".
