Hi @Asfa_Akbar_Ali,

I am not sure there is a universal formula for basic salary. Your organisation will have its own formula differently from any other organisation. You determine what the formula will be.

Let’s say, my base pay is 50,000 monthly and my Basic Allowance is 50% of this amount, then in ERPNext you enter the formula as base * .50

When you process payroll for the month, my Basic Salary will return 25,000.00 in the pay slip.
