What is the main difference between the two. When should one be used verse the other

I believe Task is linked to project. While ToDo is more like a personal note taking.

I think in order to simplify understanding the ToDo’s should disappear (or be rename to ‘Note’) sooner or later.

Ok thank you. That cleared it up. for some reason, it seems my todo’s are being duplicated from tasks. I may be doing that by accident. Thank you
