What is "Account for Change Amount"

I see under the Accounting section of the POS profiles there is a filed called “Account for Change Amount”

How exactly is such and account used? Can anyone enlighten me?

What amount would someone be changing?

Hi @airzoink, Whenever customer pays you more than billing amount you have to return the extra amount to them. This extra amount will be deduct from the account mentioned in “Account for Change Amount”. Mostly cash account is used for it. Thanks, Rohit
