View Website redirect link always redirects to "/index"

Hi, please I’m having issues getting the website homepage to work.

Despite setting a route as the homepage in the Website settings it always redirects to “/index”.
It seems to work only when there is no active user session on the browser, once a user logs in, it keeps redirecting to “/index”.

ƒ (){let r=window.open();r.opener=null,r.location="/index"}

I noticed the above when I logged frappe.ui.toolbar.view_website

Is there a workaround to this
