Using item master as a collaborative tool

Is it possible to create an item that is in "draft" mode, that will not be viewable in the regular item view until it is enabled?

This would be a good way to pull together item specs, attach images, etc. when putting together a new item/product.

I was thinking of disabling selling and purchasing and increasing its perm level so its hidden to most collaborators, but wouldn't this item still show in stock entries?

Hi Laurence,

As an immediate solution, you can enter an old value in "End of Life" and it should get hidden till you clear the field.
