User Password automatically resets

Whenever I modify anything in User,password set by the particular user has been modified to admin password,is there anything to be modified?
for ex: if I change role of an User,his password set by himself is changing to admin password

@hereabdulla does this occur for a new site or a site that you migrated from v6?
