I am not sure if this is available in ERPNext but for me currently the user cannot change password by themselves.
If they go to My Settings, the edit is grey out and disabled. Only when the System Admin log in, he can change the password for the other users.
Is this the default behaviour ? If it is, I would suggest to change the default permission once user activated.

I think it is not totally cleaned out. As you can see, I was connected with this user and everything is disabled on his own profile.

We have a subscription on your servers so I don't know about the update, but I did reset the permissions and it's the same problem
