Update cost button not updating cost of submitted BOM

The update cost button is still visible after submitting the BOM. When clicking on it, costs are updated and the fields are refreshed, However, they are not actually saved. If you reload the page, the old BOM prices come back.

Also, how does the update BOM prices through scheduler option work?

im using version
ERPNext: v11.1.49 (master)
Frappe Framework: v11.1.44 (master)

when i try to update bom cost via ā€œUpdate Costā€ button .then system will shows bom with new costā€¦thats fine . but if i reload the page it shows me the bom with old cost. i think the bom not getting updated ā€¦update button only shows the new rate

and ā€˜update latest cost in all BOMā€™sā€™ button in BOM Update Tool also not working in my case

im using more than 2000 BOMā€™s

please help
