UOM error on item definition

Hi

I keep getting an error while trying to define an item, i added the first three items on my list with no problems, and suddenly when i try to add the fourth item i keep getting this error “Please Update Stock UOM with the help of Stock UOM Replace Utility.”

What do i have to do to  rectify this and add my items to the list?

Thanks
Joseph

Hi Joseph,

You get the error “Please Update Stock UOM with the help of Stock UOM Replace Utility.”, when you are changing the UOM of a saved item, against which a stock entry has already been made.

Please check if a stock entry exists for the item for which you are getting the error. You can use Stock > “Stock Ledger”, filter by the given item and select the earliest possible date.

Thanks,
Anand.

Hi

Ok the ledger says i did enter it twice, it also appears in two of my warehouses, does that mean i have to delete it and redefine it?

I have another query, i made two BOM and i submitted two production orders for those BOM’s but how come the “Actual” field in the Finished goods warehouse remains at zero.

Thanks
Joseph
