It seems some field’s datatype has been changed to INT and the value there was an invalid integer and hence is the problem. If you can correct that value somehow, you can get out of this error.

#3

Thanks @root13F for replying :smiley: I already checked my database and all the values under INT type is correct but this error persists :frowning:

#4

hi , i have same problem , did you figure it out ?

Hello @Mohd_Rizal_sharif, What i did on this was I temporarily bypassed the patch by using try,except method. You can go the the python file of the patch then put try except on the line that raises the error :slight_smile:

In your case, on this line frappe.db.sql_ddl(""“ALTER table tabLeave Type modify max_days_allowed int(8) NOT NULL”"")

#6

ok i found the patch rename_field_max_days_allowed.py which part should i edit

from future import unicode_literals
import frappe
from frappe.model.utils.rename_field import rename_field

def execute():
frappe.db.sql("""
UPDATE tabLeave Type
SET max_days_allowed = ‘0’
WHERE trim(coalesce(max_days_allowed, ‘’)) = ‘’
“”")
frappe.db.sql_ddl(""“ALTER table tabLeave Type modify max_days_allowed int(8) NOT NULL”"")
frappe.reload_doc(“hr”, “doctype”, “leave_type”)
rename_field(“Leave Type”, “max_days_allowed”, “max_continuous_days_allowed”)

#7

This line @Mohd_Rizal_sharif, frappe.db.sql_ddl(""“ALTER table tabLeave Type modify max_days_allowed int(8) NOT NULL”"")

You can do this:

try:
         frappe.db.sql_ddl(""“ALTER table tabLeave Type modify max_days_allowed int(8) NOT NULL”"")
except:
         None

#8

frappe.db.sql_ddl(""“ALTER table tabLeave Type modify max_days_allowed int(8) NOT NULL”"")except:none

i get this error

File “/home/frappe/frappe-bench/apps/erpnext/erpnext/patches/v11_0/rename_field_max_days_allowed.py”, line 11
