Hello. Is there a way to allot/block a serial no (serialised item) from the time of creation of a sales order itself? And get it all the way to the delivery note? This on the sale of an individual serialised item and not BOM

Since Sales Order does not directly affect the Stock, serial numbers are blocked at Sales order Level. It is only at the Delivery Note level, you will be able to block the Serial numbers. In this case, you can directly create a Delivery Note and skip the Sales Order step…
There is a checkbox that says “ensure delivery based on produced serial no” inside sales order items table. Could it be altered to use it for individual items instead of BOM?
