Today button is available in Calendar View in top right along with the Month|Week|Day switcher. Clicking the Today button does bring the view to current month - if we are in a different month.
But if we are in current month but current date is not visible - because there are many events visible for earlier dates and current date may be well below like 25th - clicking the Today button should scroll the view to bring the current date cell within the visible window. Clicking Today button does not have any effect in this scenario, and user has to manually scroll down to view current date’s events
