In Our company multiple employees are working on same workstation.erpnext not allowing to update timelog for multiple employees with same time and same workstation.It shows message like this
This Time Log conflicts with TL-00024 for Workstation workstation_name.
How to solve this ?
Can i assign same job to multiple employees ?
please let me know the difference between user and employee field in timelog ?
Can you create a different workstation for each operator slot? IE
Workstation1 - Slot1
Workstation1 - Slot2
Workstation1 - Slot3
Workstation1 - Slot4
If you have 4 workers able to work at the same workstation?

Workstation1 - Slot3
Workstation1 - Slot4
it shows same blocking message.
You set them up as different workstations? Are you saying that one workstation blocks the others?
I have only one workstation.all employees are working on one workstation.so when multiple employees updates the time log,it shows this message This Time Log conflicts with TL-00024 for Workstation workstation_name.
Employee 1-workstation 1-time:08-10
Employee 2-workstation 1-time:08-10
Employee 3-workstation 1-time:08-10
It shows workstation conflict message
Right… so you should try setting up workstations for each operator slot.
If workstation 1 can accommodate 4 workers, set up four workstations in ERPNext for that workstation.
We have around 30 workers working on same workstation.creating workstation for each employee is difficult
