Stock Report shows no data when variant template product is chosen in filter

i created a template product,and multiple variants and made stock entries with variants.

When i see the stock report,it lists the variants transactions but when i filter report with the template item,it shows no data.

Isnt it expected to show the variants stock report when we filter with template product?

Check this report, this is on latest develop branch.

Im on master branch ERPNext: v9.2.15 (master)

I couldnt find the report item Variant Details

Hence I had stated in my previous reply, that this report is available in “develop” branch.
