Stock levels report empty with "Currently no stock available in any warehouse" after importing data

I’m migrating my ERPNext Server and I’ve done a fresh install of ERPNext ver 9.2.22

I imported in my previous item data which I exported previously (I also added in and updated the data after a stocktake, if this information is relevant) . They are all listed in the items view but when I click on stock levels, it’s empty. Individual items say “Currently no stock available in any warehouse”

I think I might have missed a step. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Can you see any “Stock Entry” in your system?

May be you have not submitted the records while importing the stock. Please check imported stock entry records.

yeah, copied all the data into stock entry and posted it there again to make it appear.

Submitted, but I guess I needed a second step to enter into stock entry to “receive” it not sure if it was the right way to do it but it appears now. thanks!
