Single Chart of Account for multiple companies

Hello everyone, Is it possible to manage multiple companies under one single chart of accounts. currently a separate Chart of Account is set for each company in the ERPNext. This allows managing Accounts/Ledger separately for each company. But I want only one single COA for all the companies. and if it is possible how to manage it.

I think very few people would regard such a good approach. Besides that I doubt it’s technically possible with ERPNext.

What you are looking is not possible out of the box with ERPNext.

If you want singe chart of account, you can make Branch for each company (instead of making new company).
Also, you need to add custom field Branch in all transaction.

But Branch is not a company entity after all, but the workaround might work!
