Show more number of fields in any doctype list page

Did you try this with Leave Application doctype?

There is no title field in the Leave Application DocType.

another option is, open doctype and set tile field

But, what if I upgraded the space to 100% size, It is still showing the same number of fields in the list view

The 12 columns based on which width?
In other words: if I reduced the column width, it will stay also 12 columns or then number of columns can be increased?
Really I need the help in this, because I need to display more columns in the list view and I am not able.
