Hello everyone, I want to save set of filters by Admin for a form based on user role and user will not be able to change or remove these filters. Any suggestion how to do it.

Maybe you can use user permission feature for this

i assume you use v12…
how to use it is as simple as, go to the user … select the user then at the top left there is a user permission function…
you can click that and then create new rule…
something like
saditi@erpnext.com allowed for only “Documents (such as “Territory”)” with the value of “India (for example)”… then uncheck the apply for all documents so you can set , for this role is use for which document such as “Customer”
with this then saditi will only allowed to see customer in india territory…

Hey, Can I use roles to assign permissions instead of user?
nope… only user is availble… you can adjsut it to make a tools if you can develop a new features on yourself… or you can pay for developer companies to do that…
we have that kind of service though…
We too would be interested in such a feature. Shouldn’t we as the community develop this and pay our 2 cents?
To make role based tools i dont think it would be generalized…
ERPNext build user based to make it more customized and generalized…
role based once i ever made for a another client but its hardcoded for its spesifics version…
or maybe you can have idea to generalized it…
