Sending .pdf documents instead of .html

Is there a way to send documents (orders, quotations, invoices etc) in .pdf to clients and suppliers? I've been working with ERPNext a few weeks now, and from my experience the .html files are quite easy to edit (client side, to our disadvantage) and it's quite hard to achieve cross-platform consistency when viewing the particular documents. Furthermore, .html documents aren't accepted in most digital administrations over here.

Thanks,
Neil

Neil,

Currently, you will need to use (freely available) PDF convertors to get document in PDF file. Steps below.
  1. Check Print Preview of document
  2. Cltr + P
  3. Select PDF converter in as Printer.
  4. Print
You can attach that PDF file in the transaction and email the same to party from ERPNext itself.

You can post more such feature suggestions on our github issue list.
