Selectize / Select2 in place of actual select / link widget?

Hi all,

any chance to move from actual link and select widget to Selectize or Select2?

In this way would be possible to store value and display the title_name or any other field once selected.

I’m open to contribute, for a paid development or a bounty …anyone interested in the topic?

Select2 is extremely powerful widget. we use a web app that heavily rely on it, it works like a charm with amazing ease of usability

Yes I’m if the frappe team willing to adapt it into the frappe framework.

I’ve seen select2 already adapted for django-select2, would fit into frappe as well
