Search Items etc. in transactions

Till a recent update, one could search for an item by Item Code, Item Name and Item Description. Has this got changed? How do I get back to the previous configuration? My users are up in arms against this change. It used to be easy to search for items before. Not anymore.

I don’t think it has been changed recently. In which doctype you are facing the issue? Which version and branch you are using?

All. PO, Invoice, Quotation. All of them for that particular instance which is on develop branch and here are the details:

Installed Apps ERPNext: v7.2.22
Frappe Framework: v7.2.18
Nhance: v0.0.1

Previously, if you added an item into a transaction,and clicked on the item code field in the add items menu, you could search by Item Code, Item Name and Description. Right now it looks like you can only search by Item Code. If there some setting I can change to enable this now?

Most of my installations have been architected, based on the assumption that all three will be searcheable, while adding items.
