Does auto complete suggestion in search bar removed in V9?

Another thing is, when I type item code in search bar, the result was not updated immediately. I need to either hit the enter button or (this is the strange one) minimize and maximize the browser. Is this intentional?
ERPNext: v9.2.22 (master)
Frappe Framework: v9.2.23 (master)
