Under materials in BOM there is a data entry for ‘Scrap’. Now i have a query as to whether ERPNEXT is able to generate reports based on the scrap percentage. To make more clearer, there is a paper company that during production has wastage, so they would for instance like to report the finished goods production against the raw materials used. so basically they would like to track wastage to know how much they have produced.

ERPNext doesn't calculate the wastage of raw-material during production process. You will need to make separate Stock Entry to update wastage / scrap after Production entry. The % Scrap in BOM is just for a log.
