Sales Order Warehouse and References

I’ve create a new Sales Order and added an item to the order. When I go to the details of the item to see the stock availability under warehouse and references everything is empty. Is there something I’m meant to do to see the information I want? I am a system administrator so I have all the permissions needed.

Do you see balance for the item in Stock ledger report?

ah… I see. If it’s not in warehouse it won’t report a 0. There needs to be an actual entry. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
