Sales Invoice Item No Discount and Margin

Hi, I have a clean installed ERPNext v13 and wonder why the item in sales invoice not showing margin and discount so that I can giving individual item discount?

Hi @edward_lee,

Please check to Customize Form in Sales Invoice Item, if the discount and margin section has been hidden or depend on then remove them.
After that check it.

I have check those you mentioned is blank, still not showing. Any solution?

Enable Price List and add item price. Then Discount and Margin section will be enabled

Yes, your solution is worked. But is that I have to create all items into the system before we can issue sales invoice? Can I just issue sales invoice without maintain item and price list but I need the discount?

You have to create item price into the price list for all items, if you need Discount and Margin while doing Sales Invoice
