Running serial No for the item

HI,

I have a item X. I have a running serial no as 105.

Now I need to run the next serial no as 106,

Currently it is showing as 106000001.

Either I need only 106,107,… or 000106,…000107,…

How to set it?

You have to use some prefix to set the running serial nos. Let’s say the series is SR. Then set the series in Item master as SR.###. Then using Naming series, set the current number as 105. Then system will create next serial no as SR106.
