Role Permission: Say Sale Manager vs Sale User, I see there are permission that Sale user has while Sale manager doesn't. is it corrent?

say shipping rule, warehouse, account etc. only Sale User can access instead of Sale manager, if user a is a sale manager, is that need to set him both as sales user and sales manager role?

Yang,

Sales Master Manager and Sales Users role mostly focuses on permissions for masters. While Managers role is focused on transactions and their approvals. You can customize the permissions as per your requirement though.

Hi Umair,

For how to set role-based-permission, it is very clear.

I'm still confuse, is that:
Sale Master Manager: mainly to setup data and people
Sale User: mainly on lead -> opportunity -> etc.
Sale Manager: mainly on approval and transaction

It seems in our country, Sale Master Manager and Sale Manager are called "Sales Manager" which has combination have those 2 roles.

Thanks,
Yang

You should assign both roles “Sales User” and “Sales Manager” to the person who is manager kind of profile. The permission system in erpnext does not follow hierarchical system implicitly.
