Report customization in separate py file

Hello,

I have installed erpnext app in my site and want to change query in .py file of stock ledger report. But I do not want to change it for stock > report > stock_ledger.py or in custom report, I need to add this customization in separated file. How can I do this? Or any one can have any other alternative option ?

Changes in default code is not recommended. Better you can create custom report.
