Repack/manufacture from one item code to another

Hi

I have raw material with item code in one warehouse.
I want to repack/manufacture this item to another item code in another warehouse.

When I select repack/manufacture option in stock entry, though I have to select source warehouse and target warehouse, I can enter details of only one item.
Is this the item which has been used in manufacturing/repacking or should it be the resulting item??

When I tried making an entry with resulting item code, the raw material item doesn’t get deducted from source warehouse but the resulting item gets added to target warehouse.
Isn’t it a problem with data integrity??

Note that I have used the BOM under reference and put the “Manufacturing Quantity” also.

Each line means from Source to Target

For your sub-items, keep Target blank, for your packed item, keep Source blank.

No there is no problem with integrity - you are most probably doing a wrong entry or seeing balance in the wrong warehouse.

Post a screenshot of what you are doing.

Ok got it.

I was trying to avoid production order, but it seems using it is better.
