Redirection on Click of Desktop Icon

I want to redirect to “new doctype 1” on click on Desktop Icon of that Doctype.
Any suggestions ?

EDIT: In short I want the action which gets performed on click of ‘NEW’ to be performed directly on clicking Desktop Icon

Hi,

This is probably not supported out of the box. You can add a custom click event, but you need a custom app for this purpose.
